What are Forged Couplings & Unions?
Forged Couplings are cylindrical fittings used to join two pipes together in a straight line. They can be either full couplings (both ends threaded or socketed) or half couplings (one side open). They are ideal for permanent pipe joints in high-pressure systems.
Forged Unions are a three-piece fitting consisting of two threaded end pieces and a central nut that provides a strong, detachable joint. They are ideal where the piping system requires frequent assembly or disassembly without cutting or welding the pipe.
